Commission Information
I do not have set prices for commissions; I work one-on-one with my clients to come up with a fair price after discussing details. Because of this, I offer free no-pressure quotes, with no obligation to you to follow through. If you have a set budget, let me know and I'll help you find something to work within it.
Terms of Service.
This is a brief sample. Upon commissioning me, you will receive a formal, personalized terms document.
Timeline and ScopeBefore beginning work on the commission, I will send you a concept sketch. (YCHs are exempt from this.) After the concept is approved, I will take partial payment.You will receive a progress update between the following stages: sketching, lining, and final rendering. Small changes can be requested during these updates. Changes due to client miscommunication (unclarified changes from the provided reference, requesting a change apparent in a prior phase after it has been approved, etc.) may be subject to a small fee. Major changes (scrapping an entire pose after approving it, wanting to switch out a character, etc.) will not be accepted.After the piece is completed, you will receive a heavily watermarked, low-resolution image. Payment must be finalized before I send over the full, high-resolution image.RefundsFull refunds will not be granted once the concept has been approved and the first payment has been sent. I still expect payment for the work I do complete; if you request a refund, please do so at your earliest convenience.I log my hours worked; requested refunds will be granted for whatever is left over after subtracting $14 x the hours of work completed. A refund will not be granted if I already completed a number of hours of work exceeding what the payment provided.Copyright and ReproductionI reserve the right to use the finished piece in portfolios and promos unless otherwise discussed. (I will oblige to your posting preferences, if you would rather the piece remain private or anonymous.) I reserve the right to claim the commissioned piece as my own work.You may not:
- claim the finished product as their own work
- Use, transform, or sell the commissioned piece as an “NFT” or any other form of cryptocurrency/cryptoart.
- Reproduce the artwork for merchandise, including but not limited to using the art on prints, t-shirts, charms, etc. intended to be sold for profit without expressed written permission from myself. (This can be discussed.)
- Otherwise use the artwork commercially or for profit, including but not limited to using the artwork for paid emotes, a logo, on advertising materials, etc. without expressed written permission from myself. (This can be discussed.)
- Modify, edit, or repurpose the commissioned piece (such as drawing over the piece, editing the artwork, etc.) without expressed written permission from myself.You may:
- Reproduce/print the artwork on items for personal use.
- Use the artwork as a basis for a personal tattoo or body art (in this situation, the design may be modified as needed/desired between the commissioner and the tattoo artist.)
- Use the artwork as a personal, non-monetized emote or digital sticker (such as a telegram sticker or discord emote)
- Crop, flip, or resize the artwork, or overlay the artwork onto a background.
- Post the commissioned artwork to social media or personal websites with credit when realistically possible, including using it as icons, profile photos, banners, etc.
